Rapid City, South Dakota

Rapid City, South Dakota was such a great time. There are so many family friendly things to do there, therefore, it made for great pictures and so there are many of them in this posting!
We met my brother and sister in law there and our kids were happy to spend some fun with their cousins.
First we went to Reptile Gardens. This was awesome! It features over 225 species and subspecies of reptiles which actually is more than any other zoo in the world. The kids loved it!
This tortoise named Quazi was amazing! He is estimated to be 60 years old and was definitely our favorite animal there.

Kids being silly.
Tristan absolutely loves turtles.

Izabelle loving on the tortoise.

The next place we visited while in Rapid City was called Bear country. This place was amazing. It is a drive through wild life park and the animals were everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed this place and highly recommend it!
Right up close

Reindeer crossing the street right in front of our truck.

Big Horn Sheep just feet from our truck.

These timber wolves surrounded our truck because Sunny was barking so they could hear her and smell her. They wanted her for lunch, which was quite scary for Katherine and the kids!

The bears were our favorites here.

They came right up to the truck!

The babies bears were a hit as well.
We also visited one of our countries most recognizable landmarks, Mount Rushmore.
